- Position : Technical Writer.
- Duties : writing, revising, translating and layout duties for the Computer Resources Department of La Cité collégiale. The main goal of the position was to document in-house applications, as well as commercial software used by the College. Duties included writing and revising error messages and user-interface screens; writing user guides; writing various documents for the Department (letters, memos, papers, etc.); writing and layout of a newsletter intended for College Staff; language-consulting duties for the Department and College Staff, in order to ensure a high level of quality with regards to French documents; setting up and managing the college's first-ever Gopher server; giving professional development workshops to the College Staff on the use of Pegasus Mail (e-mail software) and on the Internet; all other duties relating to the quality of all written documents produced by the Department and, occasionnally, by the College.
